Meet Dr. Prus
Dr. Prus attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He is a respected lecturer both nationally and internationally in the fields of bonding, cosmetics and advanced technologies. He has articles featured in The New York Times, Hudson Valley Magazine, Southern Dutchess News Healthy Living and other local newspapers.
He is active in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American and International Associations of Dental Research, the American Society of Lasers and Advanced Technology in Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Academy of Periodontology, the New York Society of Ericksonian Psychiatry and Hypnosis, the New York Academy of Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New York State and Dutchess Dental Societies. Dr. Prus has been an instructor of Dental Ethics at NYU Dental School and he has held an attending dentist position at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Prus and his wife, Susanne, and their family of two boys moved to Hopewell Junction seven years ago from Chappaqua, NY where he lived for 20 years. He has been practicing advanced cosmetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry in Manhattan for 25 years and has opened up the Center for Dental Excellence to serve the Hudson Valley.
Dr. Prus, along with the Center for Dental Excellence, is an active supporter of local charity and community organizations: Give Back a Smile, Sunshine Kids Foundation (children with cancer), New Horizons (adults/children with developmental disabilities), Give Kids a Smile, St. Francis Hospital, health fairs, community day booths on health care, and health education in schools, health clubs and hospitals. He also performs pro bono work for selected cases.

It is vital that the doctor and patient come to an active agreement to determine what will serve the patient best.
A passionate attitude toward precision and attention to detail, decades of cosmetic training and twenty-five years of Manhattan experience in advanced cosmetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry, and a life-long desire to help patients help themselves creates the basis of the dental care at the Center. Cosmetic porcelain crowns, both all-ceramic or porcelain fused to a tooth colored zirconium core, porcelain veneers, porcelain inlays, onlays and tooth colored fillings are the ingredients of this magical blend that gives each patient the smile of their dreams that can last for many years to come.

We participate in most insurance plans. We also accept payment from most PPO and indemnity plans. We file all our claims electronically to speed up the processing for you.
